Yesterday : Michèle MOUTON / Françoise CONCONI - Rallye Monte Carlo 1976
In 1975 Michèle MOUTON entered the French Rallye Championship with a Gr3 Berlinette. Throughout the season, she fought at the forefront despite the power deficit of her Alpine which faces the 3-liter Porsche Carrera.
These performances earned her the attention of François GUITTER who decided to help her. In 1976, the she will therefore wear the Elf colors on the all new A310.
As she was not ready in time for the Monte Carlo Rally, Michèle, still codrived by Françoise CONCONI, lined up for the last time with an A110. A final outing rewarded with a nice 11th place in the general classification and victory in group 3. But above all, the blue Berlinette is the first Alpine in the classification.
Jacky DANIEL restored his Alpine in true Group 3 spirit of the time and put it in the livery of the victorious 1976 car.
